Central Jakarta Administration has issued permission for residents who want to entrust vehicle at urban village, sub-district and mayor offices during homecoming season.

Mangara Pardede, Mayor of Central Jakarta disclosed, it is preferred for motorcycle, as it will further encourage people to go hometown using public transportation.

"Homecoming using motorcycle is very dangerous. So we allow them to entrust their vehicles at government offices, nevertheless the parking lot capacity will still be adjusted," he stated, Wednesday (6/7).

To park there, people only make a report to the officer for data collection.

"Just register at urban village. We will give the receipt also, who is the owner, when it is entrusted and when will be taken," he explained.

Mangara assured the facility is free of charge.

"That's why no illegal levies here," he closed.
